Refund Policy


Refund Policy-Donations


Social Town Foundation is instituting a donation refund policy to ensure fair and transparent processing of requests for refund of donations as digital payments are becoming more frequent.Social Town Foundation expects that all donors will exercise due care and diligence while making donations. Social Town Foundation also recognises that a donation may be made erroneously or donors may change their mind.

Social Town Foundation will examine each request for refund of donation and endeavour to make the refund. Social Town Foundation India may also seek further information / documents and donor must cooperate in this regard. However, Social Town Foundation is not obliged to make refunds and may, in its discretion, decline any requests for refund of donations, particularly if a tax exemption certificate has been issued.

If you would like your donation to Social Town Foundation to be refunded,

You must request Social Town Foundation in writing or by email for a refund and Your request must reach Social Town Foundation within 7 (seven) days from the date on which you made the donation i.e. the date on which you:

Made the donation online, electronically or through other means, OR
Handed over the cheque / demand draft to Social Town Foundation or someone authorised by Social Town Foundation for this purpose, OR
Despatched the cheque / demand draft to Social Town Foundation by other means.

The written request stating reason for requesting refund must be sent to the address stated below and must contain all the following details pertaining to the donationPlease also include the Donation amount and the Date of Donation for our reference. Refund Policy-Services


All services offered will be based on an agreement or contract. The payment and refund policy for the services offered will be as per the terms mentioned in the agreement.

Refund Policy-Courses/Events


In an unlikely situation wherein an event or course is cancelled, a Full refund will be issued to the paid particpants.
If you wish to cancel from a course that you have paid for, you can do so by writing to us at hello@thesocialtown.in


Refunds will be issued to cancellation requests that are received up to 4 days before the starting date of the course provided the reason for cancellation is agreeable to The Social Town
Please provide all required information such as your name, mode of payment, payment amount, payment particulars (transaction id) and the reason for cancellation while writing to us.
